Boss Guides

Below are boss strategies that Me, Grevier, and Rhapsodist developed in-game while fighting every boss countless amounts of times for around 3-4 hours. We got some great loot and had a lot of fun doing so. Hope these strategies work for you as well! And now, without further a due, THE STRATEGIES!

--------------------Boss Strategies--------------------

 Imp

The Imp is the easiest boss in the game at the moment, but it can still be quite a handful if you have no idea what you're doing. There really is no true strategy for this boss considering all you need to do is level up a few times and you'll be good to go. The best way to defeat this little nuisance is to simply run in, take care of the Imp's Familiars while making sure you don't get cornered, and then focusing on the imp. You don't need a party for this boss and it's pretty much straight forward.

--------------------------------------------------------

Sewer Troll

This guy, in my opinion, is a real pain in the ass sometimes, due to the large amount of Sewer Slimes protecting him. The slimes make it difficult to maneuver around the map because of the small size of the platform you're battling on. If you get cornered and you have no healer, you're done for. So let's get to it.

Party Requirements: 1 x Whisperer (Lv.8+), 1 x Warrior (Lv.15), 1 x 3rd Party Member

The first thing you'll need to do to even get to this boss is complete a small maze that requires 3 party members to cooperate. All that needs to be done is stepping on switches to extend small bridges that will all other party members to move across platforms. It's really simple and I will eventually post a guide on it as well. That is the first part of the maze. The second part requires that you choose directions in an odd room. It's basically another maze and it's really simple.

From the start point when you enter the second maze, simply go Up, Up, Up, Left, Right. The last direction only tap once so you don't continue straight to where the troll is (down a hole).

Now, for the battle. First off, make sure you all have your hotkeys set and ready. Whisperers should have their hotkeys set to ONLY heal and the AoE heal. Warriors should really not have to use skills at all except to lure monsters so Brutal Spin would be a good idea. The third+ party members should focus on protecting all Whisperers from wandering slimes because if the whisperers die, it's pretty much game over.

After you're all set, have the warrior go in first and immediately lure all monsters away from the spawn point if possible. The rest of the party should wait about 3-5 seconds before entering. Once all party members are in the boss room, the real battle can begin. The warrior should just focus on attacking the troll and spamming the ctrl key and NOTHING else. No other party member should attack the troll unless they're a warrior because if they do, the troll will switch targets and cause havoc amongst your party. the Whisperer should get within 2 spaces of the warrior and heal him with both the regular heal and AoE heal. If the Whisperer begins taking damage from the slimes, the other party member(s) should focus on the slimes attacking the Whisperer.

After about 2 minutes, the Troll should be dead and all slimes will disappear upon his death. It's probably a good idea to decide who loots first so there's not disorder afterwards. The only way out is to die, teleport, OR use the key on the doors at the top of the map to continue on into Glenvale. Once you have the key, you can skip the troll fight and enter the door at the entrance to the sewers with the bees on the map. The door is located at the top right part of the wall on the map. It's marked with an odd symbol.

--------------------------------------------------------

Mad Priest

Well.....there really is no strategy for fighting this boss at the moment because you can kill him cheaply and effectively. Once you attain a key from the sewer troll, simply continue on into Glenvale and if you go to the right side of the city, you'll notice a door that you can use the key on. Once you enter this door, you'll be in a small room with 2 gates above you. You'll notice gargoyles and the Mad Priest walking around on the left of the wall where you are. Simply use the key on the gate to open it, hit the priest once without getting the attention of the gargoyles, lure him back to the gate where you can go on the other side and he won't be able to attack you (except with magic attack which have a long cooldown). Simply heal occasionally and you'll be fine. If a gargoyle decides to join in the fight, simply attack it as well from behind the gate like the Mad Priest.

--------------------------------------------------------

Molten Lady

One word sums up this boss....BITCH. She's a real pain in the ass sometimes because of her 2 Elemental Healers that follow her around, attacking players and healing themselves/her. Like the Troll boss fight, you will need a team of people to take her down.
Party Requirements: 1 x Whisperer (Lv. 8+) (2 would be better), 1 x Warrior (Lv.15, with at least mythril armor), 1 x Wizard (optional but preferred)

Make sure everyone (aside from the Whisperer) has plenty of Weak Herbs Unfortunately, due to the 1.4.1 update, food items can no longer be used while in combat. This means that 2 whisperers is almost required for most people and you should all be at FULL hp/mp before entering. Whisperers should bring a few mp herbs so they can recover mp if they need to (run away, wait 3 seconds, use). If a Whisperer runs out of mp and Molten Lady still has plenty of hp left, you're done.

Have the warrior enter first to lure the Healers and Molten Lady. Everyone else should enter no later than 3 seconds after the warrior enters. All whisperers should immediately focus on healing the warrior so that he/she does not die. If there is only 1 whisperer, the warrior will likely have to use some weak herbs to heal because Molten Lady does more dmg than a whisperer can heal. The first thing EVERYONE (aside from the whisperers) should focus on is killing the Elemental Healers. Once they're out of the way, focus all attention on Molten Lady. She will cast a magic attack once every 30 seconds or so that will dmg the whole map regardless of where you are. If an Elemental Healer manages to respawn, all party members except the whisperers and the main attacker (warrior) should focus on killing it IMMEDIATELY. Keep on her and eventually she will die and could drop some nice loot.

A good tip to remember is that you can corner her with 1 whisperer and 1 warrior on the bottom left or right of the map. Simply get her into a corner and block her movement by positioning the warrior and whisperer above her and to her right/left. As long as the whisperer doesn't attack her, she'll only focus on the warrior and the battle will go smoothly. Also, keep in mind that at the exit there is a trap that will do 70 dmg that is unavoidable. Make sure you have at leas 71 hp before exiting the map so you don't die.

Here is a quick snapshot of our battle with her and a quick view of what i meant by "cornering her."
